Why is primary reasearch important:
The importance primary reaserach is that i gives you an idea of what of what the audience is expecting from the film you are going to make before you make it so that you can make the film the best it can be and make sure that the audience will like it by putting what they expect from the genre is in in the film for example in my questionaire i asked what they colour clothing the expect a antagonist to wear in a thriller black, red, blue or white 16 out of 20 of the people i asked said that they would expect the antagonist to wear black so i will make my antagonist wear black in my thriller.
Who did i ask and why:
I gave my questionaire to years 12 and 13 in my school bacuase they will have the most expierience watching thrillers as they are at the age that they can legaly watch thriller films so they will be the best people to aske my questions to.

My reasearch has been benificial because it has enabled me to know what the thriller audience expects from a typical thriller so i can make my thriller tyical to the thriller genre so i can make sure that hte people who watch my thriller fillm will know clearly that the film is typical to the thriller genre.
Good discussion on why primary research is important and why you asked the people that you did, however you need to include the questionnaire itself as evidence that it was done.
