Planning: Group thriller ideas

Group thriller ideas:

My idea:
Narrative: A girl is walking home from a party and as she is walking home she finds a child standing alone on the opposite side of the road she then proceeds to ask the child is lost or needs help the child then turns away and starts to run away the girl is then concerned for the child and chases after the child  the child then enters a abandoned house and the girl follows the child into the house, she then sees the child holding a man’s hand she cannot see him as he is shrouded by darkness and all she can see is his half his arm and his hand holding the Childs hand the door behind her then shuts the screen fades to black and the Child says “Did I make you happy daddy” and the last thing you hear is the door lock.
Title: Follow Me.
Sub-Genre: Psychological Thriller.
Characters: Antagonist (Dad), Child Antagonist (Lost Child), Female Victim (Girl Walking Home).
Narrative Structure: Aristotle’s Theory (Beginning, Middle and End).
MES:
Settings: Dark streets, Abandoned Home
Iconography: Child

Costume: Antagonist dark black clothing, Child cute children’s clothing and Female victim Dress that is a light colour e.g. white.
Advantages: My idea keep the audience on edge but keeps them wanting to know more through and is very typical to the thriller genre to make sure that the audience find it easy to understand.
Disadvantages:
Hard to get a child actor, Hard to find a abandoned house.

Partners ideas:

Narrative:11 year old comes back from school to find everyone she loves has dissappeared. She then searches around her house and finds a man waiting for her in her room she then assumes that he is the one who has taken the people she loves away. She is then chased around her house and when she gets outside she is caught and brutaly murdered but she then wakes up finds out it was all a dream.

Title: A red dream

Sub-genre: Psychological thriller

Characters: The girl, Antagonist, Dead Mum and Dad

MES: Costume: antagonist wearing black suit with a mask so you can not see his face.
Girl is wearing white dress to make her look innocent. the thriller is set in a typical family home.

Advantages: keeps the audience guessing an wanting to know more.

Disadvantages: Hard to find a house to use, hard to get a little girl to act in the film.

Narrative: A girl is walking through a alleyway and she keeps hearing a voice to turn around but she keeps on walking. She keeps hearing the voice and then begins to panic and starts to run through the alleyway she is then grabbed by a male antagonist and stabbed to death.

Title: Watch out

Sub-genre: psychological thriller.

Characters: young girl, ghoust girl voice, male antgonist.

Narrative structure: aristotles narrative theory.

MES: set in an alleyway at night low key lighting, Girl is wearing white clothing to make her look innocent, Antagonist wears black all black and holding a knife.

Advantages: Very easy to put together and is easy to understand as it is very typical to to the thriller genre.

Disadvantages: May be hard to find a girl willing to act in a alleyway in the dark at night.

  1. Good planning of ideas here. Good to see that you have discussed different options and have critically thought about them too.

-your first idea, a child is not icongraphy, what objects will you guys use?
    -introduce idea 2 and 3 with sub-headings
-with the second and third idea, more detail like lighting or just generally more detail for MES
