Planning: Production Roles

Introduction:
Production roles are the roles that the people in our group will take to produce the film it is important to give production roles to everyone in our group because this will ensure everyone is organised and knows what there role is going to be in the making of our thriller it makes the process of making our film much quicker as everyone knows what they are doing and what they have to do.

Different production roles:

Dierector:
The dierector is the leader of the films production the dierector calls the shots throughout the films production.

Producer:
Partner of the dierector the producer controls the films buget.

Camera operator:
Controls the camera when filming.

Lighting operator:
Controls the lighting used in the scenes.

Location manager:
Decides where the film will be set.

Hair and make up:
Does the hair and make up for the actors in the film.

Story Boarder:
Plans the the outset of the film.

Editer:
Edits the film.

Sound editer:

Our groups roles and why:

Chardelle:
Dierector, location manager and hair and make up. Chardelle has been given these roles as she always wants 110% out of the members of our group and good people in a group. She is the only girl member of our group so is the only one with the expierience to do the hair and make up. She is location manager because she travels alot and knows great locations for our film.

Lashane:
Producer, Lighting operator, Sound editer. Lashane has these roles because he is good at managing money and is very good at working one on one with people. Lighting operator is good at knowing what is good in each of our scenes to make our scenes look the best they can be. Lashane is the sound editer because he has expierience in sound editing.

Me:
Camera operator, Story boarder and Editer. I have these roles because i have expierience in editing. I have used a camera and filmed before. I am good at drawring.

Why has this been benificial:
This has been benificial because everyone in our group knows what we are going to be doing so this has been saved us time and confusion when making our film

  1. Good planning here of the roles within your production.

    To improve;
-provide more detailed definitions of the roles
-think about what skills each person can bring to thier role
