Planning: Character Representation

Planning Character Representation:

Why is character representation imprtant:
Character representation is import as this is the is how the audience are going to view your character the way that you represent your chatacters  will dettermine the way that the audience are going to view your character. Also the way you represent your character will determine th relationship the audience has with them that is why it is important that you represent your character in as many different ways as possible. The way that you represent your character helps the auience understand or give them an idea of the narrative of the film so it makes it easier for the audience to understand what the film is about.

Our characters:








Name: Silvana
Character Role: Little Girl/ Ghost Child
Character Age: 10
Gender Stereotype of Role: Subverting role as the antagonist but is also traditional as the character is a child.
Costume: White Dress
Hair and Make up: Extensions, White powder to make her look pale, Running make up and messed up hair.
Body Language and Facial expression: Limp body and emotionless facial expression.
Represented as: Shes is represented as a stalker that is out for revenge on the person who killed her she is clearly represented as a ghost as she is pale and has messed up hair. Her clouths are light colours but this is not used to make her look innocent it is used to make the audience see she was a sweet innocent girl before she was killed.
Role within the narrative: She is a little girl who was killed in a car crash and has now come back to get revenge on the girl who killed her.


Name: Liz Komakech
Character Role: Older Girl/Female Victim
Character Age: 18 
Gender Stereotype of Role: Subverting the stereotype of the female victim being a white female but is also traditional as she is a female.
Costume: Light coloured jeans and T-shirt
Hair and Make up: Normal make up and hair
Body Language and Facial Expression: Jumpy and scared body language and a happy and then terrified facial expression.
Represented as: The caharacter is represnsented as a normal girl getting tormented by a mistery antagonist but it is then revealed that she has secret that have caused  the anatagonist to come back to gt revenge on her which makes her then become a mesterious character.
Role within the narrative: she is a girl in her late teens walking home and then is begin to be tormented by a mystery antagonist who is out to get revenge on her for something that she has done.
