180 degree rule:
The 180 degree rule is an hypothetical drawn between two or more actors. The camera must not shoot on the other side of the line and this is because it can confuse the audience and also the shooting will not be consistent.

Conclusion:
Looking at all the different types of edits i can add into my film has enabled me to look at the ways i could use them in my thriller film.In my thriller film i am going to be using a reaction shot to clearly show the reactions of the actors in my thriller, fade to black this is to leave the audience not knowing if it is the end if the film or if there is more so they will be left wanting to know what happens next and a montage to quckly get from on scene to another.
A clear post and structure is clear. Some basic definitions provided.
ReplyDeleteTo improve;
-slow motion needs a definition
-introduce editing in terms of the effect of the micro-element. What is the micro-element? Rather than looking at the editing process in general in post production
-examples should be from thrillers, or at least before you end the post, provide a Thriller scene analysis. Analyse a scene identifying three effective uses of editing – use PEER
-Conclusion: what types of editing are you now planning to use and why?
